Hello & Happy New Year!

With a New Year comes new resolutions...some of mine include-the obvious-cardio at least three times a week in an effort to shed the last of my pregnancy weight b/c the goal is to have my thighs get smaller postpartum NOT bigger-what the hell?!, moderation in everything I do (except with wine, afterall studies show red wine improves circulation, digestion, is good for your heart & makes you an overall nicer person...okay so I made the last one up-so what!), become a better go-with-the-flow-er when necessary, letting an apology be a good enough last word, care less what people think of me-it's none of my business anyway & last to parent more by instinct & less by what this study says and what this child specialist thinks...there are far too many books to overwhelm my little brain-the truth lies somewhere in the middle of all of them. My friend Cathy sent me a list of what I am calling "life's rules"-I like them-cheesy or not. Here are five of them and one of mine. Stay tuned for more rules & pictures from Dillon's first Christmas!

-Take a 10-30 minute walk every day. It is the ultimate antidepressant.

-Live with the 3 E's -- Energy, Enthusiasm, and Empathy.

-Watch more movies, play more games and read more books than you did last year.

-Always pray and make time to exercise.

-Eat more foods that grow on trees and plants and eat less foods that are manufactured in plants.

CHANGE THE WORLD-START WITH YOURSELF
